Photos taken near Pitlochry (north Perthshire) early May. I've included a photo with a siskin for size comparison. Colouring and size indicate common redpoll, but RSPB site guide suggests this is not likely and that lesser redpoll is more likely. However, this bird is clearly not "slightly bigger than a blue tit". Can you help please?
