I took these pictures in my garden and was hoping someone could tell me what birds they are.
II think it is a Sparrowhawk and a Bramble?
Hi Alan, you are correct with Sparrowhawk and a Brambling and think Sparrowhawk is a male that could be an immature bird but wait for more expert opinions on that. At first I thought the Brambling was a male but on closer view I'm more inclined to think female after a closer look, once again, wait for more expert opinions on that. Lovely birds to see and photos.
