Hello dear bird community! my friend is now in Hurghada, Egypt, and he sent me a picture of what seems to be a Warbler (Moustached Warbler by Merlin Bird ID), but there are some distinctive features (wide white throat stripe, dark coloured collar) that make me wonder what kind of a Warbler he saw.
my bet is that this is a juvenile because some juv warblers tend to have such collar, but I’m no specialist in warblers, exactly the opposite! basically - could you please help with identification of a bird?
