I wonder if it's possible to ID this bird from the back? Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic from the front at all. There were some Goldfinches on the bush too but this was a bit bigger. I was thinking it could be a Chaffinch?
I'll say the same, male chaffinch, even if it was a black and white photo I'd have said male chaffie.
