Identify this A couple to identify

A couple to identify

Hi

Can I ask for idents of these. Just starting out in birdwatching and so many birds seem similar that they cause confusion, looking at books and websites.

I'm no expert, but here's my guesses

1 Garganey

2 Reed Warbler

If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will correct me

I reckon the ducks may be juvenile mallards, which might explain why their bills look a bit outsized. Reed warbler for No2.

I would also say Mallard for the ducks: flatter head shape; brownish bill; no obvious pale edges to eye stripe.

I've never seen a Reed Warbler, so I bow to superior knowledge there!
