I saw these two flying past South Stack last Wednesday and took them for cormorants - but the beak looks a bit slender on both birds. Did I get two shags?
As always, all help most appreciated.
I'd be tempted to say cormorant, but then I've not seen shags in flight. However, like everyone else, I'm more inclined to take Robbo's word for them being cormorants.
