Hello,

saw this spider scurrying across my garden.

it is a Sandy orange-yellow colour and about 1.7cm long

any suggestions will be great!

It's a male... I think it's a Drassodes cupreus, also known as a 'stone spider'. It's a small one, so maybe quite young - a lot of the photos of the species will look bulkier. It's the visible spinnerets that make me think it's one of those.
