Hi, I spotted this robin was tagged at Gunners Park, Shoeburyness yesterday. Would love to know it's origins.

    Hi Kim,it looks like a normal BTO ring on your Robin which will have been caught in nets by registered ringers bht the history of the bird may not be known until it is recaught. It all sounds a bit drastic but quite safe snd harmless to the birds. You can learn a lot more about this if you are interested on the BTO website
