In a large tree in Yorkshire. Five quick beep pattern

It's very quiet on my phone but if you can help. I can't find anything like it. But it's probably just me. It's 5 or 6 quick beeps with a break and then beeps again in a consistent pattern.

  • I would say that it's the alarm call of a Nuthatch. They have quite a variety of calls and songs.

  • Nuthatch, locally also called a Woodland Whistler by some of the old woodmen I know ,easy to hear why.
