We noticed a new type of bird in out garden this morning and my daughter really wants to know the name of this bird. Please could someone identify this bird. Many thanks
It look like a Phesant to me, either albino or Leucitic. It is due to the pigment colouring in the bird, Albino is pure white whilst leucitic is partially white, this can be whole parts of the bird or maybe head, wings, breast or patchy white all over, the eye will show a different colour in each as well. Have a look at the link below, it is interesting.
