Identify this
I found this baby just north of Stockholm in an inlet of the North Sea. I would love to know what it is. I am very much a beginner.

I spotted this little bird on our feeder. Pretty sure it's a red poll but it's a bit young. It sounds like a chick but they aren't nesting yet as far as I know. Any thoughts?

Hello Lois, welcome to the forum, nice picture of a juvenile gull but I'm afraid I'm not expert enough to identify which species. Looking at its features I suspect its one of the more common gulls like a Herring Gull or similar as it looks quite large. Hopefully one of the more expert forum members can identify it specifically for you. There are over 20 species of gulls seen around the Stockholm archipelago,

Thank you, Tony. I was leaning toward a gull. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
