After spotting an unfamiliar species of duck my wife and I have been searching the internet for answers. The duck was spotted in a large pond in a park in Sheffield. To me it most similarly resembles a Shetland Duck but I am aware species can sometimes get confused. Could you help confirm/ deny this identification? I have attached a picture.
Hi PeakDbird. I've just Googled it and it is a possibility but it could also be a Manky Mallard. Was it in Weston Park?
