Anyone able to identify this nocturnal bird?

Hello all, first post on here as I am so curious to find out what has recently arrived in our area. For the last few nights I have heard the same bird start at around 2am and go on until 7am or later. It's a residential area with all gardens backing on to each other, several very large sycamore trees in the middle. There is a chap that keeps poultry but I don't think this is one of his. I have made a recording , excuse the 10secs of anticipatory silence, but this does make it sound much more melodious than it is, much more of a gutteral type screech in there. Thanks in advance!
