Identify this
I’ve heard this bird for the last 20 years and always assumed that it is a snipe. But, not sure. I call it the squeaky wheel bird. We are surrounded by snipe and there is much drumming at night, but this is a daytime call. We live on Skye.

Not very Snipe like, but could it be a Dunnock? Their song to me was once described as "squeaky supermarket trolley wheel" which has proven to be memorable.
