Hello All. These photos were taken yesterday on the Wirral in a back garden. Marsh Tit or Willow Tit? I know what I think, but I'm certainly no expert.

I wish Tony...I only know mine are Willow Tits because it is rare to get a Marsh.
And I agree with you that it looks like a Marsh Tit

but here s a Willow Tit (I hope LOL) with a slight white shading to the top beak

Glad we were all in agreement, Roger. They can be tricky to differentiate. A bit like the Chiffchaff/ Willow Warbler conundrum - unless you hear them sing.
