Thank you, I’ve looked up Muscovy duck on google and I think you are right. My bird apps didn’t ID this duck so that is very helpful.

European fieldguides (and apps) don't cover them as they are originally from South America. However, there are quite a few escaped Muscovy's on the loose in Britain plus there used to be (might still be?) a feral population at Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Thank you, this one was seen by myself on a fresh water lake near Ashington in Northumberland. I will keep a lookout to see if these ducks are breeding in this location or not!
