About the size of a blackbird ( maybe a little bigger) with matt mid grey feathers and a darker grey around its eyes. It definitely wasn’t a Pigeon, Dove or Jackdaw. This was late January and it was trying to eat blueberries off the ground.
Hi Annie, did it look anything like this bird in the photo ? This bird is a winter thrush visitor (Oct-April) and called a Fieldfare.
