The male pheasants I’ve seen are much more colourful in the body. Do they molt?

I assume like most birds they will moult Rebekah but they also come in a lot of different colours so you will get some variation in the body.
Ahh lovely! He was a very handsome chap and enjoyed having a potter around our garden :)
We quite often get a woodpecker visit the bird feeders too. I had never seen one before until we moved here!
These are a couple of youngsters off my patch, the dark one is like her mother.
