Hi Julie, can you remove the stones a few at a time, clean them and put them back? How big are they?

I would have thought a good clean with hot soapy water and a good hose down would do the trick Julie.

no it hasn't, it's too large an area, it's putting the water on it that makes it smell! I've hosed all the stones down and it just makes the smell worse
There's too many, it's quite a large area and there was several sources of feeders dotted over it, I've tried hosing it down but it just makes the smell worse :-(
To be honest I think you'll have to remove them a few at a time and clean them up. Can you take a pic so we can see what the layout is?
Hi, Yes that's my plan of action now, I've got a big bucket and a garden sieve and will do a patch at a time, thanks :-)
