what should we do with a baby blue tit who has flown into our warehouse unit and is now perched in the rafters covered in cobwebs?
The parents are still feeding the babies in the nest just outside
If it can be safely return to the nest area, that's the best bet. Obv with cobwebs removed.
so the parent will still feed, if we have handled it to remove cobwebs?
Can't guarantee that, but not really another option. Taking a common species to a rescue centre, they may take it in (but will be very busy this time of year), and as both parents are feeding young, seems less risky to let them. Rescue centre could well also be quite a few miles away.
