Canadian Goose at work parking lot keeps attacking the door

I’m pretty sure that it’s because it sees the reflection. Its mate is on a strip of mulch inside the parking lot about 100-200 yards away from the door. The goose spends all day attacking the cars (only shiny bumpers so we think it’s the reflection) and seemingly most of the morning/night attacking the door judging by the amount of droppings it’s left there. I’m really worried that this is bad for the mental health of the goose as well as the health of its mate and future children. Is there any possible way to help prevent this or is this just a S.O.L. Kind of thing?

  • Hi Jdail, this happens with birds at windows and we would suggest fixing some kind of  window stickers etc, as this is the car, could you put up some kind of cover to block the bird from the reflection, some cardboard, any type of screening, even a sheet? The bird will be exhausted by doing this
