Black and white striped head. Looks like yellow wings underneath and maybe some blue down the back?

Oh thats a shame! They are so beautiful! I heard green finches had been in decline but dont know about goldfinches.
Hi, just a suggestion but you may want to change your forum name from your personal email, this is an open site and you may land up junk and spam mail. Go to the top of the page, click the wee circle, click profile, click edit profile, a bit down the right, then you can change your name in the box top right, safe profile.

There should be a circular profle picture top right of the page which when clicked on gives you an option to select 'Profile' - then on the profile page there is an option (on the right) to edit profile
