If you keep away and don't go near, they should hopefully hatch and fledge. Have you noticed parents about and mum on the nest?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
There is a risk it'll be deserted now the lid is up and photos have been taken. Prob depends how long the eggs have been incubated. Hopefully, the lid has been put to how it was prior to nest discovery.
Yes, I waited to they went away. They came back, I will update in a few weeks
Lid only open for a few seconds. They came back
You might not be having a bbq this year - incubation period is 12-15 days - female only - male will feed her. The hen will start to incubate once she finishes laying. Time from hatching to fledging is again 12 to 15 days but Robins double and sometimes treble brood so as soon as youngsters are out and about under the males care the hen may start laying again. I know it's hard but please resist the temptation to look closely again and good luck

I agree with Germain. You may also hear, or possibly read, that they don't re-use the same nest site. Not true.
