You are right on the button Linda, be good if you can find a source of stinging nettles!
They need cleaning out daily ( poo machines) & fresh leaves every day, don't try to feed all six!! Put sheet of kitchen roll in bottom of container! Fascinating process to watch!

Kitchen roll on bottom and I cut off a couple of leaves from the plant it was on for now! Feeling out of my depth here lol

You need to cover your glass vase or it could escape, drape a tea towel over for now!

Commas appear to be a species that is benefiting from climate change in the UK. Their range has extended 50(?)% since 1970. Still not that common in Scotland (location assumption based on the naming of Jock the Sprawk).

The technical term is "frass". That's the polite word for insect poo :)
