We have two Dewlap Toulouse geese, male and female. The female is obsessed with us and not the male.

Our female goose follows us when we are with them, she nips at the male if he tries to stop her. Last year she started to rub her head on the ground when we approached and then tried to climb our legs. We put them both on our pool with ducks and not in their house to try and convince her she was a goose. She lost a lot of weight and has wet feather, so we brought them back in. The male has tried to mate but she runs away. How do we convince her she is a goose. We have to hide from her if we can, if she sees us she goes mad to get to us. I do hope someone can advise on how we can make the changes so they are both happy.
