We have house martins living under our roof and one accidentally flew through the window and was picked up by the cat. It doesn’t look injured in the outside but it refuses to fly and it seems in shock/ very scared. I can’t leave it outside alone because of the cat and i can’t reach its nest either. Any help?
If its colour is dark grey ish rather than blue, and the white is less brilliant white than adults are, which I suspect it is, it will be a youngster that took a wrong turn. It doesn't have to go back into a nest as it must have flown and been able to fly to end up in the house. Either it is injured having been with the cat, or it is fine to leave on an outside window ledge.
