Thanks Mr B I knew it was one or the other, that’s twice I have thought a Mistle Thrush was a fieldfare. On both occasions the photo was poor because of the bird being so far away, The bird was in the same field as last year and it was only around two weeks apart. Each time I couldn’t get nearer to it before it flew away. It’s amazing how far away they know of your presence. Still learning, thanks for your expertise.
