Hello everybody. I'm just wondering if I've really got a frequent visitor to my garden, or whether I'm mixing it up with something else. I've seen it close-up through the binoculars a couple of times now and to me it definitely looks like a grey wagtail. It has the yellow underside, grey top and what looks like white diagonal lines on the tops of his wings when he has them folded back. It's definitely not a Siskin. The thing is, it's nearly december and I just have a normal suburban back garden with a water bowl. no other water features, and the nearest river is about ten minutes walk away, so either i'm lucky or I'm just confusing it with something else
