Robin Fledgling snorts and recent gasp for air.
Robin rescue after 13 days, started opening his mouth about 20 minutes ago as if gasping for air. He did stop gasping for now, but want to be prepared if it reoccurs.
He also regularly makes a snort-like sound. I just thought it was another sound that they make, now I wonder if that is a nostril clearing snort of some kind. If there is an robin expert out there, I can provide a short video of the snort and if the gasping occurs again.
I would appreciate any help or advice that anyone can provide.
