May I put a sound recording on here for bird I D

  • With there being Pheasants in the recording it sounds like it's near or in woods.

    It's certainly calling in a group of three unlike that Sparrowhawk, if Amanda is on Twitter she could tweet the BTO and see what they think.

  • Hi. It's a Sparrowhawk. Goshawk has a very similar sound but, despite the possibility of some nuance being lost in the recording, the high pitch is a good match for Sparrowhawk.
