Hi as Bob has already mentioned there are some in Dawlish here is a pair with one youngster I photographed back in 2012, but here is always some on the stream running through the town going into the sea.

I have never seen any before, they were at Shotley suffolk, It was great to watch them, such a beautiful bird. does anyone have an idea how many breeding pairs there are across the uk as they are now in sunny suffolk....

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
I have seen some at Slimbridge (a place I need to revisit), but that was decades ago, though I'm sure they will have had plenty since.
