We’ve just enjoyed an amazing great weather motorhome holiday in southerness holiday park Dumfries while there we spotted an albino sparrow we knew it was a rare site but until googling it didn’t realise how rare only the fifth siting in 100 years.??
Hope you managed to get a photo or 2 Cris as most of these birds that look like albinos actually just have a condition called leucism which you can read about in the link below
https://www.bto.org/our-science/projects/gbw/gardens-wildlife/garden-birds/behaviour/plumage/leucism
I think you can also alerto the BTO of your sighting and they will be able to confirm if you provide photos
