(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
What a fab selection Linda.... especially skulky Mr Walter Rail out in the open! What's the 2nd one? (Google Lens says Green Sandpiper?) Always think it's a result if you can get Nutty and Treecreeper on the same day Thanks for sharing
Looks like you chose the right place with all those lovely species and photos, nice to see a Rail too

Lovely photo's Linda. I haven't seen any water rails. Nice also to see the jay, nuthatch and tree creeper in the one visit.
Thanks PB, it was only yesterday the Water rail came out of hiding as I sat in the hide by myself... magical moment as that's only the 2nd time av saw it. Yeah green sandpiper , been a couple of them around for few weeks now. That's the closest av ever been to trecreeper so was really nice....oh cmon a get nutties in the garden daily lol
Thanks Hazel, it's literally on my doorstep and it's the perfect place to feel like your totally away from home
Thanks ILR, I only saw the GWE yesterday from a great distance as it was my 2nd visit of the day, as my son joined me and we went looking for sandmartins but none to be seen yet where they nest,. Always lovely to see a Jay so close
Thanks William, I usually spend an hour or 2 two there every day now
