White Tailed Bumblebee to kick off this year's thread
(Pardon the Scottish Accent
Am Soooooo gonna miss you all )
Today's objective is to find as many small creatures as I can. Hopefully the first of many.
A nice macro Ed.
Well captured Ed. It is excellent conditions for macro at the moment - nice and bight and dry ground for crawling about. I have had my maco lens on too ...
Thanks BD and SnappyMac. The pic was taken with the R7 and my 100-500 Telephoto lens at 500mm and at min focus distance. Oh how I would love a proper macro lens.
These were a bit harder to photograph because of the breeze and their movement. Certainly a nice challenge to take on.
A Hoverfly. Not sure on ID on this one.
A 14 Spotted Ladybird. Not sure to be honest.
A Bluebottle fly?
A Sawfly possibly?
Would really like to get up closer to these and see more detail. Anyway, hope you enjoy these and don't put too many shivers down your spine. Spiders next if I can find any.
Great minds, Ed, I did a butterfly-y and bug-y wander today as well. Be careful what you wish for... I find macro lens knackers my back as I've got to get so much closer to teeny tiny creepy crawlies lol. Superb images you've taken there!
Thank you PB.
Nice macro's Ed, always fun to do.
Very nice sets Ed, such good detail
