Blue Tit on a very poorly Box bush.
the constant gardener
Fairly regular on feeders, male this time.
Occasionally the female visits.
Only an occasional winter visitor to the garden.
A brave Blackbird bathing in a just thawed pond.
This Thrush has made a few visits to the pond area in the past week but is till very elusive.
I love the reflections in the following pics.

Nice photos Tony the reflections are so good and lovely to see the woodpeckers
Great shots Tony. I love the ones of the Woodpecker. I do see them in my local woods, but have never been lucky enough to get one on my feeder. The Robin on the Box bush reminds me of a fairy on top of a Christmas tree ... .
Thank you all for your nice comments, the garden birds don't seem regular visitors these days, we can go days with nothing but pigeons & the odd pheasant which destroy the garden. These were all taken on a new camera through the usual grubby double glazed windows, armchair birding. Hope everyone is well & healthy & free from the bugs doing the rounds.
I missed this Tony - looks like you have Box Tree Moth making itself known Great Tits have been recorded taking the caterpillars so maybe Blues will too. Love your Song Thrush enjoying the water - hopefully you'll hear them singing soon
