Jeez that's another year gone already , which also means am a year older and meant to be wiser
Not much has changed in the garden, it's baltic here as usual but no snow sadly .
My daddy fox buggered off before just before Christmas and returned 2 nights ago looking for his Xmas dinner.....yes it was all in the freezer and I gave him a piece of my mind as he sat there looking lovely
Well a canny be mad at him for long
Then onto a few of my birdie visitors, got quite a few BBs the now so the thrushes are constantly being chased out the garden when they stop chasing each other...always a drama ut then this one likes to stay close to me cos it know am gonna throw some seeds for him
Och that will do for now before you all fall asleep.
Thanks for following my garden over the years, so excited to what may turn up this year
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
thanks BD
I was late to the party to try and guess, would never have got there anyway!! An unusual find, but mind you, what would we expect in your garden, as you seem to get everything, well almost!?
A lovely wishing well Linda, nicely placed for you to see ️
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
thanks CL...yes it fitted perfectly under window when I cleared it all out .....wonder how long my newt has been living there!!!...so glad I seen it and done all by hand as you just never know what's lurking about !!!
I don't lurk!!!
Get out of my garden right now
Very nice Linda. They don't seem to be around ponds much these days. As as kid they seemed to be in and around every pond I was in. They must still be about, but I don't go in ponds much anymore.
Thanks Mr Kes, perhaps they just like to hide more now from us humans....don't blame them really lol
Time for another wee update ...
Very busy GTs ...lovely to see the box being used, never noticed until a few days ago as the tree in front of it blocks the view
No sun shines on the box so fingers crossed for success
Nice to see the bullies eating natural food...leave the grass , watch and learn
I do try and soak an area every day to help the Starlings
You know its been hot when the neighbourhood watch comes down for a drink!
The cheek of it!
New watering hole lol...can't have too many
This wee guy doing well
Had a game of peekaboo with Jenny
A surprise visitor again
Sad to say not seen my foxes in months but hope they will return one day soon as I have freezer full of chicken.
Thanks for looking
Oooh, not been on your reserve in weeks, Linda. Absolutely the best shot is Maggie, hands down!! Great to see the variety still comes to see you, and some bairns. Thanks for sharing, and don't leave it so long next time!
