Jeez that's another year gone already , which also means am a year older and meant to be wiser
Not much has changed in the garden, it's baltic here as usual but no snow sadly .
My daddy fox buggered off before just before Christmas and returned 2 nights ago looking for his Xmas dinner.....yes it was all in the freezer and I gave him a piece of my mind as he sat there looking lovely
Well a canny be mad at him for long
Then onto a few of my birdie visitors, got quite a few BBs the now so the thrushes are constantly being chased out the garden when they stop chasing each other...always a drama ut then this one likes to stay close to me cos it know am gonna throw some seeds for him
Och that will do for now before you all fall asleep.
Thanks for following my garden over the years, so excited to what may turn up this year
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
You have a beautiful garden Linda. Great photos hope you get lots of new arrivals this year. I especially love the Bullfinch. Thank you for sharing
Your garden is looking lovely Linda. I love the Acer, I have one in my garden. I bought it about 15 -20 years ago as a sapling and it is well established and growing strong. The leaves have just recently fully formed for this year ...
Thanks SM, I seem to have too many finches so am guessing av got yours and quite a few other folkes lol, oh delighted you still have your greenfinch as I never see them often when am out n about so glad I can come home to them.....oh defo an improvement with spring growth!!
Thanks Sal, Garden is always a working progress and I am so late sewing seeds this year so fingers crossed the youngsters will still come
Thanks BD, it's strange as I have 3 acers and they all get their leaves back at different times, 2 are right out in open and other has to be sheltered next to pottingshed at least the leaves do come back so shut up Linda and stop yer moaning lol
Nice to see the garden starting to spring into spring! I am sure you will have plenty to plant out. The trees and shrubs are looking good now, getting well established. Lovely to have the sun still, rain forecast for the weekend!!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Lovely photos again Linda, love the Chaffies and Bullies. Like the Goldfinch with the ring on it. Seeing lots of Goldfinches about at the moment.
