Thank you for your super report along with a lot of superb photos. You are very lucky with photographing a Muntjac deer. I have never been close enough to one to get a photograph yet, or close to one full stop. Last time OH and I visited Titchwell, a new hide had just been built,. It was so comfortable to sit in we spent a good couple of hours there. Mind you it was cold and wet at the time. I remember the 360 degrees view you had on all sides of the building so.it was well worth having it because you are very exposed to all weathers being being alone beside the coastline. Sorry to hear that Mrs PB has not been too good. I am sure that your trip together would have raised her spirits.no problem in the big outdoors
Add on: The hide I am thinking about is the Parrinder Hide

Hi PB,
I've been to Tichwell quite a few times over the years, and it's always very rewarding as your photos confirm, a great set well captured.
With Minsmere only 45 minutes away from me we could meet up if you fancied it when you finally make your way over here.
Best wishes,
Trevor
p.s. I think your Willow Warbler may be a Chiffchaff, legs possibly too dark for a WW.
