These were all taken on a walk in early Feb on a walk from Burnham Overy Staithe coast path out towards Holkham Beach. With the tide going out you have the advantage of mudflats on your left and pasture/water meadow on your right with reeds, streams and hedgerows.

Good assortment there Tony. Don't thnk I have ever seen a Widgeon. I had a look on the map at where abouts they were taken - should have probably read the title ... . I noticed very close to there is a place called Wells-next-the-Sea, where my sister went last year on her holls, she really enjoyed it. I wonder why it's not called Wells-on-Sea, or even Wells next to the Sea ...
