I love to see and hear Dab Chicks. Their strange call baffles quite a few people who are not familiar with it. The two pair we have locally have not hatched yet and are still sitting tight. Thanks for posting pictures of these little beauties

I enjoyed looking through your photos DB, one of my favourite birds too, nothing wrong with those photos, and hopefully the chicks will get through the next few days and increase the numbers of the L. Grebe.
