Some left over scraps from the kitchen today enticed the crows down from their merry heights...
The Maggie knows it's place!
Maggie left drooling from above lol
Off he pops
Oh that sausage looks delicious
It's nice to have the crows down for a wee change other than to chase Jock the Sprawk ;-)
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
The photos are good you took some good close ups of them. The Magpie was funny. Members of the crow family do have a tendency to chase birds of prey. Since you see the Sparrowhawk so often they They must I chase him quiet Frequently
Is that you dying tae get the mower out already PB ?? Cos ma feet trample over it several times a day..feeding the birds, cleaning the bird bath, then hubby tramples on it to at night when he goes out to the cabin to train lol It's actually soaking wet there PB as it's just infront of the Sparrowhawk Hide ;-) The grass isn't showing any signs of growth other than round the edges of the decking between the hide and potting shed...its gonna look even more flat and soggy tomorrow when snow arrives!!
Lot to learn
Fabulous photos Linda, and they do seem to have that aura about them, keeping everything else in check, in a clam manner.
We have three crows that regularly visit the garden, and often they will pack as much food in their bills as possible.
