Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Looks beautiful Gaynor and especially good if you are viewing from inside the house through the window with a roaring fire going or maybe nicer outside wrapped up in thermals, gloves, hat and fleece !

Wow!
Fabulous, and teasing.....
I'm keeping a careful watch on the weather, because February does produce some brilliant winter scenes in Snowdonia. Now covid restrictions are easing in Wales, and the chances are they will ease yet further for Easter, I've booked Easter with family just outside Conwy, and really looking forward to seeing them all properly again.
And of course, The Spinnies, and RSPB Conwy.
But I'm conscious that things could take an about turn....

Some photos from February 2009, when I was winter climbing Pen yr ole wen, via Hour Glass Gully
Llyn Ogwen with Glyder Fawr, The Devils Kitchen and Y Garn in the background, from Cwm Loer
Tryfan from Cwm Loer
Yes, that ice coming in to Cwm Loer did look very sky blue in colour, it wasn't the camera tweaking....
Finally, the view from Rhydlydan, just east of Pentrefolas on the A5 heading up to Snowdonia Feb 2020

I think the temp for most of the day was subzero, but when you're on the move, you generate a lot of heat, and winter climbing with ice axe and crampons, more so, it makes mud plugging seems easy going.
