Male Common Crossbill - the local Crossbills seem to have paired up now and seem to be coming to drink in their pairs rather than larger groups. They seem to be much less vocal when there are just the two of them.

I can recommend Anglesey as a holiday break for them but you will need to send some Choughs up here.
