I recently had a few baked beans in tomatoe sauce left over, so I put them on the edge of the bird table-to my surprise, magpies, crows and pigeons went mad for them. Didn't know birds liked baked beans

Got to be careful the toast doesn't get stuck in their throats too... and if they have a fried egg, is that a form of cannibalism??

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
This is from the RSPB website. Wild Birds can eat cooked beans. One of the risks is salt in baked beans. Salt is not good for wild birds, particularly in large quantities,

Other birds could become VTO's, wouldn't fancy a swan in my jacuzzi and just think of the amount of cleaning
I’ve mentioned this many times on this forum in the many threads on feeding wild birds. Even if wild birds like food that anyone puts out. It doesn't mean that is safe or good for wild birds or wild animals. Examples! l know of Hedgehogs that have. been given milk by some, which of course Hedgehogs will take and drink milk. But Milk is not good for Hedgehogs. Dogs and Cats will eat Chocolate that humans eat. But that Chocolate is not good for Dogs and Cats. You can get Chocolate especially for Dogs and Cats. You’ve got to be very careful what you feed wild birds and wild animals, even if that food that you put out is taken by any wild creature as that doesn't mean that, that food item is good or safe for wild birds and wild animals!
