Eagle that disappeared from UK in early 20th century has been spotted in Cornwall

I'm surprised it has taken so long to reach Cornwall as some of the released youngsters went walk about. We even had visits in N Yorks I had two sightings fairly locally

I couldn't comment, I don't know the area well enough other than as a holiday destination.

Maybe held up in holiday traffic I hear it is bad down that way.

There were some strong rumours about the W T Eagles setting up territory in the N Y Moors National Park area, some dangerous ground out there for raptors.

The A30 is still a bottleneck, though I believe construction starts later this year on making the worst stretch from the A39 to the A390 (Truro roads). It's only taken 30+ years of discussion and public enquiries.....
