Sedge Warbler (Foulshaw Moss)

With vegetation/reeds being quite high at Leighton Moss it was hard to see a Sedge Warbler although a few were heard around the reserve.     Needing my fix of a Sedgie we headed over to Foulshaw Moss and this little beauty duly obliged ..................

It was constantly singing and not fazed by my presence although I did have the 300mm and 2 x    

   

a few pics to show you the Foulshaw Moss habitat;    it's also a good place for damsels and dragonflies as well as distant Ospreys  ! 

there is an area where they have feeders which attracted many species of bird;      G.S.Woodpecker,   Redpoll, Chaffinch, Siskin, Tree Sparrow,  Great Tit, Goldfinch which are the ones we saw......................
