We have a collared dove nesting in our palm tree and noticed today 3 eggs smashed on the ground. Will she lay anymore eggs this breeding season?

I would think it very likely, they tend to breed all year round but unfortunately make very flimsy nests sometimes in unsuitable places, hopefully the weather will be kinder next time they have eggs! The pair in my Niece's garden nest in her large Bay tree, wind blew eggs out first time & Magpies predated the second time ... they are nesting again in same place!
