Inspired by Hazel’s wonderful images of Stonechats by the coast, I headed to The Malverns, a place at which they tend to be located at most times of the year. It was great to see so many, and at various stages of plumage

A brilliant shot, and not easy to do, for you never know where the lightning is going to show.

There's a puddle just out of shot, and she doesn't want to get her skirt wet wading through it.... and they're not "my" emojis.... in fact, I rarely use them
A few from the weekend in the local valley/moors. Closest I've been to a wild red deer stag, staring at me from amongst the trees in the Peaks. Soon be approaching that time of year so won't be getting that close then even though I never even noticed him at first..
