Sparrowhawk Back For Another Bath

Fab sequence Tony, always makes me smile to see a sprawk, but to see one that's usually so sleek looking so bedraggled even more smile inducing :o)

A stunning set Tony it looks like it is going to be a regular visitor at your pond.

Cheers PB, it didn't look like it was enjoying the wash at all. It flew into tree to flap and dry off but it was obscured by branches.

It was back about 6 days later Alan but the pics are rubbish so have not wasted time on them. It has been fairly regular over the past few months, not sure if thats good or not, not seeing much else in the garden at present except of a Moorhen & GSW, so can't complain.

Maybe next visit I might try for a video clip Nige to really capture it splashing about. Just not sure trying to capture vid hand held at 400mm,

It certainly takes care of itself, the cleanest bird in town, sorry garden, do you think it has a mate in mind ? It wants to impress.

Fabulous photos Tony, always so special to get a Sprawk in the garden anyway but having a bath too, well that's just the icing on the cake:-)
