What do you think about this odd creature?

I think it's facing away from the camera hunched over with its head down, out of shot, so it's ... well, a dark brown bird is sadly as far as I got! Definitely an unusual angle that makes it look weird, though!

I'm wondering if it's a turtle dove. It looks pigeony, and there's a bit of pattern on its wing.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
